On 6 April 2023, Chennai, Shri ACS Arun kumar, president Dr MGR Educational And Research Institute(Deemed to be university)Maduravoyal ,Chennai had met veteran members of Akhil Bharatiya Purva Sainik Seva Parishad (ABPSSP)Tamil Nadu chapter.
The President of the Deemed University Shri ACS Arun kumar in a act of graciousness and large heartedness has consented to the request of the ABPSSP Tamil Nadu chapter, represented by retired veterans Maj Gen Murali (President- ABPSSP) & Lt Col Thiagarajan (Senior Vice President – ABPSSP), to grant 10 free seats in the Dr MGR Educational And Research Institute for progenies of Ex Service Personnel, Veer Naris and Wounded War Veterans of Indian Armed Forces starting next Academic year.
The veterans Association conveyed their gratitude to founder chairman of the Deemed University Shri AC Shanmugam Ex MP and also to The President Shri ACS Arun kumar for their noble act. An MOU for the same was signed between the institution represented by Registrar Dr Palanivelu, Addl Registrar Dr Malini pande (Strategic planning & Development) and ABPSSP in the August presence Shri ACS Arun kumar.
