The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today had a meal with his Parliamentary colleagues across various parties of the country.
The Prime Minister posted on X:
“Enjoyed a sumptuous lunch, made even better thanks to the company of Parliamentary colleagues from various parties and different parts of India.”
BJP MPs Heena Gavit, S.Phangnon Konyak, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, L Murugan, TDP MP Rammohan Naidu, BSP MP Ritesh Pandey and BJD MP Sasmit Patra joined PM Modi for lunch.
Minister and BJP MP L Murugan said he is yet to shake off the feelings of having lunch with PM Modi and interacting with him for 40-45 minutes.
The MPs also took the rare chance to sit down and chat with PM Modi and spoke about his back-to-back-schedules, hectic foreign trips, about Gujarat and more, as per sources.
The Prime Minister also revealed that he went to Pakistan in 2015 to meet his then counterpart Nawaz Sharif despite the Special Protection Group (SPG) objecting to his visit.
