Chennai, Tamil Nadu 26th December, 2022 – JM Frictech India pvt ltd, Irungattukottai carried out plantation of 815 trees as a part of their CSR activity. This was conducted through Viruksham in Venkadu village where more than 100 employees of the factory participated in this plantation drive.
Viruksham is a leading plantation drive NGO, they have planted 815 tress in Venkadu village as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility of JM Frictech India pvt ltd, Irungattukottai. E Madhavan the Managing Director, M Shanthi Madhavan, Director and M Harsha Madhavan, director inaugurated the plantation drive. More than 100 employees of JM Frictech India pvt ltd took part in this drive and actively participated.
Speaking on the occasion, the Managing Director of JM Frictech India pvt ltd, E Madhavan, appreciated employees active participation in the plantation drive at Venkadu village. He assured that the company would do it’s best to grow and conserve the green habitat of the city.
M Shanthi Madhavan, Director, acknowledged the efforts of the company employees for organising the mass plantation drive at Venkadu village. She spoke about the importance of plantation, protection and conservation of trees and on how important it was to take individual responsibility for the nurturing and protection of the saplings each planted.
Lt Col N Thiagarajan (rtd), the general secretary of Viruksham stated “This CSR initiative by JM Frictech India pvt ltd will help in increasing the soil fertility and green cover in this area. The plantation was conducted in the green belt area where the tress will be maintained until growth. This plantation drive will offset 8150 pounds of carbon each year”
